1. We framed the challenge

End and beginning of the year. Period of performance annual review for most organizations. Feedback is a powerful… and very complicated tool for managers! They do not feel comfortable, they do not know how to have an impact and generate commitment, they are afraid to destroy the personal relationships when entering into a feedback conversation, they do not know how to be transparent AND constructive, and it’s hard for them to manage their own emotions and even more the ones of their collaborators, etc.

Corporate HR in Neuraxpharm wanted to encourage the use of feedback and provide all the managers of the organizations with practical and easy-to-use tools that could help them quickly to improve this specific skill.

We co-created a specific 100% customized and practical program to cover these needs:

3. The experience

We first did a pilot with the European HR team to get constructive feedback and improve the design for the other groups.

We used a lot of different channels and digital tools to make the sessions very interactive.

The sessions were very practical with a lot of interactions, exercises, breakout rooms, individual reflections, role playings, etc.

The teams were provided with concrete and real exercises to put into practice between the sessions to deep dive into the tool and adapt them to their own style.

Some individual recommendations were shared with the people interested in deep diving into the methodologies, by email or by call to reinforce the understanding and the learning process.

Formal feedback has been requested after every session to foster a continuous improvement process.

Every year a new Edition is organized for the new managers/new persons joining the company, to ensure a proper alignment of all the managers of the organization.
