How we co-created the “Leaders For Tomorrow” program for High Potentials in Alliance Healthcare together with Ready For People

Alliance Healthcare is a global provider of services to the pharmacy office and pharmaceutical industry. Ready For People is dedicated to creating experiences that spark change. We collaborated with Ready For People to co-create and customise a tailor-made leadership development programme for Alliance Healthcare's High Potentials.

1. We framed the challenge

Based on the results of the annual performance reviews and the implementation of the talent matrix, Alliance Healthcare initially identified 10 key managers from different areas of the organisation to be part of the Leaders 4 Tomorrow (L4T) initiative.

This programme aims to develop specific actions for those professionals in the “Top Talent” group. The objective is to develop future managers so that they can:

  • Develop their teams
  • Motivate their collaborators
  • Get the best out of each individual
  • Promote teamwork
  • Improve productivity

  • Team leadership

2. We co-created

The program started with a first promotion for about 5 months, with the mentoring of a sponsor. Contents and dynamics were adapted in a process of continuous improvement with new editions every year. The second edition was 100% online during the pandemic. The new editions now contemplate a hybrid model with some face-to-face impact sessions and the facility to combine online sessions as well. The program was designed and customized 100% to meet Alliance Healthcare's objectives. It now includes several activities and dynamics:

3. The experience

Participants experience the program as a great learning opportunity and value having been selected to attend this exclusive program. It also represents an investment of time and effort for each of them to take advantage of all the activities.

The regular meeting points through different dynamics allow to approach learning from different perspectives, to reinforce them, to put them into practice and to turn them into new habits. In this sense, the duration of the program (more than 5 months) allows a real transformation and a deep anchoring in each of the participants. A “before” and an “after” can be observed in the participants.
